The Role:
We are looking for a reliable and experienced Multi-Skilled Operative with a strong flooring background to join our growing team.
This is a hands-on role working across a variety of live and completed sites, carrying out both planned works and reactive maintenance.
The ideal candidate will be adaptable, self-motivated, and capable of delivering high-quality work across a range of tasks including (but not limited to):
- General property maintenance
- Basic plumbing and electrics
- Carpentry and joinery
- Painting and decorating
- Tiling and plastering
- Garden/outdoor maintenance (optional)
Key Responsibilities:
- Installation and repair of flooring (vinyl, LVT, carpet tiles, laminate – desirable)
- General building maintenance and minor works
- Basic carpentry, patch plastering, decorating and making good
- Working in occupied and unoccupied properties
- Liaising professionally with site managers and clients
- Ensuring works are completed to a high standard and within deadlines
Requirements:
- Proven experience in flooring
- Multi-trade skills within general building works
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Good attention to detail and pride in workmanship
- Full UK driving licence
- CSCS card preferred
- Excellent timekeeping and customer service skills
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Probation & Introduction Period - £30,000.00
3-6 Months - £32,500.00, After 6 Months - £35,000.00+
