30 hours per week (term time only) Fixed, 1 academic year, subject to funding continuing.

We are looking to recruit a highly skilled and committed English Intervention Tutor to provide intervention to students who require additional support. The successful candidate will work closely with a range of students in Key Stages 3 & 4 (to GCSE level).
What You Need to Succeed
The role will require working with students in small groups outside of their timetabled lessons as well as sometimes supporting students in class. Working closely with the English Faculty Leadership Team, you will be required to plan the tutoring session to closely align with the curriculum needs and expectations.
The successful applicant will put the needs of young people first, have a passion for learning, excellent interpersonal skills and will be both ICT and emotionally literate.
We will consider applications for part time or flexible working hours.
Applications are welcome from anyone with relevant qualifications. The position is particularly suited to committed teachers, tutors or students (for example graduates or students on a gap year) who specialise in Maths and are passionate about their subject and have high expectations of all pupils.
