Summary
We are seeking a Lifeguard to join our dynamic team at School’s Out Activities in Norwich. In this vital role, you will ensure the safety of children during water-based activities at our holiday camps, helping us deliver fun and secure environments aligned with our mission of safety and enjoyment.
Responsibilities
- Supervise children during water activities to ensure their safety at all times.
- Administer first aid when necessary and respond promptly to emergencies.
- Enforce safety rules and guidelines in accordance with regulations.
- Maintain cleanliness and safety of swimming areas.
- Collaborate with camp staff to coordinate activities and ensure a safe environment.
- Keep accurate records of safety checks and incidents.
- Support the overall organization of camp activities with a focus on safety.
- Communicate effectively with children, parents, and team members to promote a positive experience.
- Qualifications
- Valid lifeguard certification with current first aid training.
- Proven experience in supervising water activities for children.
- Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with children and staff.
- Ability to remain calm and respond swiftly in emergency situations.
- Knowledge of compliance standards related to water safety.
- Enthusiastic team player committed to creating a safe environment.
- Previous experience working in holiday camps or similar settings is preferred.
