We are looking for an experienced live-in carer to join a small team providing one-to-one support for our lovely 89-year-old mother in her home in Balham, London.
This is a long-term position working alongside two experienced carers who have been supporting our mother over the past few months. Initially, the role will involve providing daytime care for 2–3 consecutive days at a time, with occasional overnight stays when my wife and I are away.
Later this year, we expect our mother to move into her own apartment in Clapham South. At that stage, the position will transition to a live-in role, working 3–4 consecutive days at a time as part of a three-carer rota, ensuring continuity of care and regular time off.
