Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Electrician. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems across various facilities. Duties
- Install, inspect, and repair electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures in accordance with safety standards and technical specifications.
- Read and interpret electrical schematics and technical diagrams to troubleshoot issues effectively.
- Maintain and service programmable logic controllers (PLCs) to ensure seamless automation processes.
- Perform welding tasks as required for electrical installations or repairs.
- Conduct routine maintenance on electrical systems to prevent breakdowns and optimise efficiency.
- Supervise junior team members or apprentices, providing guidance and ensuring adherence to safety protocols.
- Collaborate with other departments to deliver exceptional customer service by resolving electrical issues promptly.
- Lead small projects or tasks independently, demonstrating leadership and organisational skills.
- Document all maintenance activities accurately in accordance with company procedures.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in electrical installation, maintenance, and repair within industrial or commercial environments.
- Demonstrable mechanical knowledge alongside electrical expertise is highly desirable.
- Previous supervisory or leadership experience is advantageous.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team while maintaining high standards of safety and quality.
