Job Overview
We are looking for experienced flexible Class 1 drivers based in Luton for the below shift types -Trunking and Tramping
Payrates:
Monday to Friday Dayshift - LTD £20.00
Monday to Friday Nightshift - LTD £21.00
Saturday - LTD £22.00
Sunday - LTD £23.00
Requirements:
- Must be over 21 years old
- Must have at least 2 years experience on HGV
- A maximum of 6 points will be accepted depending on the codes
Responsibilities:
- Conduct vehicle inspections to ensure the vehicle is in safe working condition
- Load and unload as appropriate, ensuring proper securing of goods to prevent damage during transit.
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and complete necessary paperwork related to shipments.
- Follow all traffic laws and regulations while driving, ensuring compliance with company policies.
- Perform routine maintenance checks on the vehicle and report any mechanical issues promptly.
