Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Field care Supervisor to oversee operations out in the community supporting our carers and assessing new clients.. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a passion for senior care, ensuring that care plans are effectively implemented and that our team provides the highest standard of care. This role requires excellent communication abilities to liaise with staff, clients, and families, fostering a supportive and efficient atmosphere.
Responsibilities
- Supervise daily operations within the service, ensuring compliance with care plans and organisational policies.
- Lead and motivate a team of care staff, providing guidance and support to enhance performance.
- Conduct regular assessments of clients needs and ensure appropriate care processes are in place.
- Communicate effectively with clients, families, and healthcare professionals to ensure a holistic approach to care.
- Drive initiatives that promote clients well-being and satisfaction within the facility.
- Oversee training and development for staff, ensuring they are equipped with the necessary skills for their roles.
- Maintain accurate records of care needs and incidents, reporting any concerns promptly.
- Collaborate with management to implement improvements in service delivery.
- Conducting compliance and competency checks for our carers.
- Responding to the ever changing needs of our clients and adapting changes when needed to our clients' care plans.
Experience
- Proven experience in a supervisory role within a senior care setting or similar environment is essential.
- Knowledge of CQC Standards is Essential
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and manage a diverse team effectively.
- Familiarity with IT systems relevant to care management is advantageous.
- Experience in developing and implementing care plans tailored to individual clients' needs is highly desirable.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, enabling effective interaction with various stakeholders.
- A genuine drive for improving the quality of life for our clients through compassionate care practices and developing person centred care plans.
