Key 2 Care is recruiting a dedicated Care Assistant to join our Extra Care Scheme at Brick Kiln Place in Grantham. We’re looking for someone with the right values, compassion, and commitment to support our residents and help them live fulfilling, independent lives.
About You
You’ll need previous experience in care, but no formal qualifications are required — we’ll support you with training and development to help you become an exceptional care worker.

About the Role
No two days are the same in Extra Care. Our residents are individuals with unique needs, interests, and personalities — and they deserve to be supported as such.
Your duties may include:
- Supporting daily personal care, including medication
- Encouraging participation in wellbeing activities such as arts and crafts, musical evenings, and social events
- Promoting independence, confidence, and community involvement
- Helping service users lead meaningful, fulfilling lives
You’ll play a key role in creating a warm, supportive environment where service users feel valued and empowered.
Shift Patterns
You will be required to work:
- Every other weekend (mornings, afternoons, and split shifts)
- Occasional full weekends to cover annual leave
Shift times include:
- 06:45 – 10:30 / 10:45 / 11:00
- 06:45 – 13:00
- 06:45 – 14:30
- 14:30 – 21:45
- 14:45 – 21:45
- 17:00 – 20:30 / 20:45
