This Learning Support Assistant role is ideal for someone who enjoys supporting young people, building positive relationships, and helping pupils reach their full potential both inside and outside the classroom.
The Learning Support Assistant Role:
As a Learning Support Assistant, you'll work closely with teachers and support staff to provide tailored support to pupils throughout the school day.
Your responsibilities as a Learning Support Assistant will include:
- Supporting pupils in lessons, in small groups, and on a 1:1 basis
- Helping children stay engaged, focused, and confident in their learning
- Supporting pupils with SEND, ADHD, autism, SEMH, and additional learning needs
- Encouraging positive behaviour and emotional wellbeing
- Building strong relationships with pupils, staff, and families
- Assisting with classroom activities and day-to-day school routines
