Tarmacer / Asphalt Rakehand/Screwsman – Coppard Plant Hire
Coppard Plant Hire is looking for an experienced Tarmacer / Asphalt Operative to join our team, working from our Crowborough depot.
We carry out a wide range of surfacing and groundwork works, including:
- Machine-laid asphalt
- Hand-laid asphalt
- Surface dressing
- Preparation of subbases for surfacing
- Laying kerbs, edgings and setts
- Concreting
- Drainage works and general groundwork
Our work ranges from small domestic jobs through to large commercial projects, for both private and public sector clients.
We are looking for someone with experience in tarmac/asphalt works, including machine or hand laying. Experience in any other groundwork areas listed above would also be beneficial.
The ideal candidate will be reliable, hardworking, able to work well as part of a team, and willing to get involved in a variety of site works when required.
A valid driving licence is essential.
The role is based from our Crowborough depot, so applicants must be able to get to Crowborough for a start time between 6:30am and 7:00am, Monday to Friday.

Pay: £230.00-£270.00 per day
