Job Overview
We are seeking dedicated and compassionate Senior Carers & Health Care Assistants to join our team at Crowborough Lodge Care home and The White House in Saltdean. This role involves providing high-quality care and support to residents within a care home environment. Duties
- Deliver personalised care in accordance with individual care plans, ensuring residents' dignity and comfort are maintained at all times
- Supervise and support junior carers if applying for the senior role, fostering a positive team environment and ensuring high standards of care delivery
- Assist residents with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, medication administration, and mobility support
- Monitor residents’ health status and report any changes to senior management or healthcare professionals promptly
- Maintain accurate documentation of care provided using IT systems and ensure compliance with organisational policies
- Support residents’ social engagement and organise activities to promote mental and physical wellbeing
- Ensure the safety and cleanliness of the care environment in line with health and safety regulations
- Drive organisational initiatives related to quality improvement and resident satisfaction
Experience
- Previous experience working within a care home or senior care setting is highly desirable
- Supervising or leadership experience in a healthcare environment is preferred
- Strong communication skills to effectively liaise with residents, families, colleagues, and healthcare professionals
- Competence in using IT systems for documentation and reporting purposes

Day & Night shifts available. Our shift patterns are 7am-7pm or 7pm-7am.
Day shifts can be split into 2 parts, 7am-1pm and 1pm-7pm.
Pay: £13.00-£15.50 per hour
