What you'll be doing:
As Horticultural Manager, you will take ownership of the plant area, ensuring high standards of presentation, customer service, and commercial performance. You will play a key role in day-to-day retail operations, with regular responsibility for covering wider store management duties when required.
Key responsibilities include:
- Managing and developing the plant area to maintain strong retail standards and an excellent customer experience
- Leading, supporting, and motivating a small team within the department
- Taking responsibility for stock control, ordering, and replenishment
- Providing practical horticultural advice and guidance to customers
- Covering general store management duties on a regular basis
- Working closely with senior management to support operational delivery and improvements
- Maintaining compliance with health, safety, and store procedures
