Laundry & Housekeeping Assistant – 24 Hours Available
Location: Alsley Lodge Care Home Setting
We are looking for a friendly, reliable, and caring person to join our team as a Laundry & Housekeeping Assistant. This role offers flexible hours and will include working every other weekend.
Key Responsibilities:
- Cleaning residents’ bedrooms and communal areas, including dusting, hoovering, and mopping
- Ensuring all spaces are maintained to a high standard and in line with regulations
- Laundry duties: washing, drying, folding, and ironing
- Helping to create a comfortable, homely environment for our residents
About You:
- Chatty, warm, and able to build positive relationships with elderly residents
- Passionate about making a difference in someone’s daily life
- Able to work independently and as part of a supportive team
- Reliable with excellent attention to detail

Qualifications
- Previous experience in commercial cleaning or laundry preferred but not essential
- Level 2 in IPC preferred but not essential
- A basic understanding of health and safety regulations related to cleaning practices is advantageous.
