We are searching for a Kitchen Porter to work in our kitchen. Our ideal candidate is a hard-working and team-oriented individual who is willing and able to help maintain our facility in a clean and organised manner.
Responsibilities:
- Clean and disinfect kitchen appliances and equipment, assisting the kitchen brigade by ensuring that the kitchen is always maintained at a high level of cleanliness
- Clean and sanitise the kitchen floor and all other floors in the kitchen when necessary.
- Cleaning dishes, pots, pans, trays, cutlery, and kitchen utensils when necessary.
- Multi-task when necessary.
- Practise basic health and safety rules when cleaning equipment.
- Organise items in a logical way.
- Manage the pot and plate wash areas
- Good organisational skills with an attention to detail
- A team Player with flexible & positive attitude
- Assist other departments wherever necessary and maintain good working relationships
- Comply with hotel security, fire regulations and all health and safety and food safety legislation
- Report maintenance, hygiene and hazard issues
- Hardworking and consistent
