About the role
Justteachers are seeking a dedicated and supportive Teaching Assistant for a school in Rishton. This is a full-time, temporary role starting September, offered as a long-term supply placement. The school is a welcoming and inclusive environment, with a strong focus on supporting pupils with additional needs and fostering positive relationships to help all learners thrive.
Key responsibilities
- Support pupils within the classroom, including those with SEN
- Provide targeted 1:1 and small group support as required
- Assist with the implementation of individual support plans and SEN strategies
- Support pupils’ social, emotional and behavioural development
- Contribute to a safe, calm and positive learning environment
Pre-requisites
- Relevant qualifications (e.g. Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant, or equivalent)
- Proven experience of supporting pupils with SEN
- Strong knowledge of inclusive practice and behaviour support strategies
- Two education or school-based references
- Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to obtain one)
Pay: £90.00-£105.00 per day
