An opportunity has arisen for an experienced furniture fitter/driver to join Harris Installation Services. A fitter / driver is responsible for the installation, assembly, and demonstration of furniture and will be required to drive company vehicles up to 3.5t (Luton size or similar). We would also be interested in someone who can drive 7.5t - C2 and be willing to assist as a fitter.
If you do not have previous fitting experience we would like you to have experience of using hand tools and working on a site.
Be able to work well in a team as well as individually.
Be able to drive one of our company vans or make your own way to the site on public transport (London area) where necessary.
Be open to occasional weekends and evenings for overtime rates due to the nature of the job.
Be prepared to carry out other works such as commercial & domestic relocations.
Hold or be willing to obtain CSCS Accreditation.
