About the Role
We are currently looking for a meticulous and hardworking valeter to join our growing car sales. In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring every vehicle leaves our premises looking its absolute best and is fully prepared for our customers.
This role would suit someone who has a passion and understanding for cars.
This is not just a standard cleaning role; it requires a great eye for detail and a hands-on approach. A basic understanding of vehicle mechanics is a distinct advantage, as you will be handling some light mechanical preparation tasks.
Key Duties & Responsibilities
- Retail-Standard Valeting: Cleaning and preparing both the interior and exterior of vehicles to an exceptional, retail-ready standard.
- Pre-Delivery Inspections (PDIs): Carrying out thorough visual and functional checks to ensure vehicles meet our standards before handover.
- Light Mechanical Work: Fitting vehicle batteries, checking vehicles in a pre-MOT style format (tyres, lights etc) and assisting with minor preparation tasks.
- Site Maintenance: Maintaining a clean, safe, and organised working environment.
- Vehicle Handling: Safely moving vehicles around the site and to MOT/IVA tests as required.
What We Are Looking For
- A proven track record in vehicle valeting or detailing (preferred).
- Mechanical understanding is highly advantageous and will set you apart from other applicants.
- Machine Polishing Experience is advantageous but not required.
- An exceptional eye for detail and a commitment to high-quality work.
- A full, valid driving licence.
- The ability to work efficiently under pressure and manage your own time.
