Job Title: Dental Nurse (Saturday: 8:30 am- 2:30pm)
Lovat House Dental Practice is excited to offer a new opportunity for a qualified Dental Nurse to join our expanding, friendly, and long-established team. We are seeking an enthusiastic and positive individual who enjoys taking responsibility within their role and would like to work in a private dental practice located in the heart of Cheltenham.
In this role, you will provide exceptional chairside support and patient care while assisting our clinicians with a range of clinical duties. The successful candidate will primarily work alongside one of our hygienists.
Our busy four-surgery practice is fully equipped with modern technology, including digital X-rays, OPG, CBCT scanner, intra-oral scanner, and a CEREC milling machine.
Key Responsibilities
- Welcome and prepare patients for treatment
- Provide chairside assistance to the hygienist during dental procedures
- Prepare dental materials as required
- Prepare, sterilise, and maintain dental instruments and equipment
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records
- Assist clinicians with clinical notes
- Ensure full compliance with infection control procedures
- Support front desk duties when required
- Attend all relevant training sessions and practice meetings
- Carry out any additional duties as required by the practice
Qualifications & Skills
- GDC registered Dental Nurse with relevant certificates andHepatitis B immunisation
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to work effectively within a team environment
- Good knowledge of dental terminology and procedures
- Confident using dental software and modern dental technology
