Overview
Located in Cricklade, The White Hart Hotel is looking to recruit a Bar/Restaurant Supervisor to join our team as well as assisting the owners with the daily operations of the hotel. You will lead our team and instil quality and consistency of service, enhancing the reputation of the Hotel in the area.
Introduction:
In a nutshell we are seeking a passionate operator to supervise the daily operation at The White Hart.
* Have previous experience working in a bar/restaurant.
* Interact with guests at the highest level and have a strong Front of House presence.
* Be a well-presented, personable character with strong leadership qualities and very good communication skills.
Main Responsibilities:

* A strong and dynamic presence in the bar & restaurant.
* Possess the skills and ability required to work alone and be self-motivated in the running of the bar & restaurant.
* Be directly involved in the day-to-day bar and restaurant operations, working hands-on in service and playing an integral role in the rota.
* Be a strong leader to lead and inspire the team with clarity and confidence.
* Be responsible for all staff conduct and discipline on a daily basis and assist the owner in conducting disciplinary inquiries as and when required.
* To be responsible for implementing staff training with the assistance of the owners, to ensure all staff can operate efficiently and to the standards required.
* Conduct training for all staff to ensure staff have an in-depth knowledge and understanding of our menus.
* Through good product and menu knowledge, be able to upsell and maximise on selling opportunities.
*Manage Rotas
* Oversee the maintenance and cleanliness of the pub, ensuring all health and safety regulations are strictly followed.
* Deputise in the absence of the owners.
* This is not a "Live In" position.
