We are seeking an experienced Diagnostic Technician to join our growing and professional automotive team. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled technician with strong fault-finding abilities and up-to-date knowledge of modern vehicle systems.
You will be responsible for diagnosing complex vehicle issues, carrying out high-quality repairs, and supporting the workshop team with technical expertise.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform advanced diagnostics using manufacturer and aftermarket diagnostic equipment
- Identify and resolve complex electrical, mechanical, and electronic faults
- Carry out repairs efficiently and to manufacturer standards
- Complete job cards and reports accurately
- Support and mentor junior technicians when required
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
- Maintain a clean and organised work environment
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Diagnostic Technician (minimum 3–5 years preferred)
- Relevant automotive qualifications (NVQ Level 3 or equivalent)
- Strong knowledge of modern vehicle electronics and CAN systems
- Experience using dealer-level diagnostic tools
- Full UK driving licence
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Desirable (but not essential)
- MOT Tester qualification
- Hybrid/Electric vehicle certification
- Experience with multiple vehicle brands

Pay: £30,000.00-£35,000.00 per year
