About the role
Easy Bathrooms & Tiles is looking for a commercially focused Paid Ads Manager to join our growing digital team.
You will take ownership of our paid advertising activity across Google Ads, with a strong focus on driving profitable online sales, showroom leads, appointment bookings and local showroom visibility.
You will manage campaign strategy, budgets, optimisation and reporting across Google Search, Shopping, Performance Max, remarketing and local campaigns. You will also work closely with our marketplace and paid social teams to support joined-up reporting, budget decisions and advertising performance across wider digital channels.
This role would suit an established Paid Ads Manager or an experienced Paid Media Executive ready to step into a more commercially focused management role.
Main responsibilities:
Google Ads and paid search
- Develop and manage the paid advertising strategy across Google Ads.
- Create, optimise and scale Search, Shopping, Performance Max, remarketing and local campaigns.
- Test and manage newer campaign types, such as AI Max, where commercially relevant.
- Manage local paid search campaigns for more than 155 showroom locations.
- Increase showroom appointments, calls, direction requests and in-store visits through location-focused advertising.
- Build clear campaign, channel and budget strategies to support revenue, lead generation and showroom growth.
- Carry out keyword research and identify new campaign opportunities.
- Manage campaign structures, audience targeting, bidding strategies and negative keywords.
- Review search terms regularly to improve relevance and reduce wasted spend.
- Monitor competitor activity and identify opportunities to improve visibility.
- Work with the website team to improve landing pages, conversion rates and customer journeys.
- Brief designers and content teams on advertising creative and campaign requirements.
- Produce clear weekly and monthly reports on campaign results, spend, leads, sales and return on ad spend.
Shopping, feeds and reporting
- Manage Google Shopping activity and product-led campaigns.
- Monitor Google Merchant Centre and support product feed improvements.
- Identify feed, product or landing page issues affecting performance.
- Use GA4, Google Ads and other reporting tools to analyse performance.
- Review conversion tracking, attribution and campaign measurement.
- Report on online sales, leads, showroom visits, calls and other key paid media outcomes.
- Make recommendations based on sales, margin, return on ad spend and customer acquisition costs.
Wider paid media support
- Work with the Marketplace Manager to support advertising performance across Amazon, eBay and B&Q where required.
- Support paid social reporting and budget discussions where relevant.
- Help identify the strongest products, categories, locations and campaigns for future investment.
- Communicate results clearly to senior stakeholders and wider teams.
Skills and experience
Essential:
- Strong hands-on experience managing Google Ads campaigns.
- Experience across Search, Shopping and Performance Max.
- Good understanding of local paid search and location-based campaign targeting.
- Experience managing advertising budgets and working towards commercial targets.
- Strong knowledge of return on ad spend, cost per acquisition and conversion rates.
- Experience using Google Analytics 4 and Google Ads reporting.
- Strong Excel or Google Sheets skills for analysing performance data.
- Experience with conversion tracking, attribution and campaign measurement.
- A commercial mindset with a clear understanding of revenue, margin and profitability.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple campaigns, priorities and deadlines.
- Confident communication and stakeholder management skills.
Desirable:
- Experience managing advertising on Amazon, eBay, B&Q or other online marketplaces.
- Experience using Amazon Ads or marketplace advertising platforms.
- Knowledge of Google Merchant Centre and product feed optimisation.
- Experience with local inventory, store visit or showroom lead campaigns.
- Experience working with a large retail or showroom network.
- Experience using feed management, reporting or bid management tools.
- Experience supporting Meta or paid social campaign reporting.
- Previous experience mentoring junior team members.
- Experience within retail, bathrooms, tiles, home improvement, DIY or furniture.
- Experience using AI tools to analyse campaign performance, identify optimisation opportunities, improve reporting, generate ad copy variations and support more efficient paid media decision-making.
What we are looking for
We’re looking for a data-driven, commercially minded paid media professional who understands how to translate advertising spend into measurable business growth.
You’ll have strong hands-on experience with Google Ads and be confident managing campaigns across paid search, Shopping, Performance Max and remarketing. Experience with marketplace advertising across platforms such as Amazon, eBay or B&Q would be highly beneficial.
You’ll be comfortable managing budgets, analysing performance and making clear decisions based on revenue, leads, return on ad spend, margin and customer acquisition costs.
You should be proactive, organised and confident taking ownership of campaigns while working closely with ecommerce, marketing, website, marketplace, showroom and finance teams.
