Delivery Driver – J L Brooks Ltd (Leeds / Yorkshire)
Full Time – 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday
J L Brooks Ltd is a well-established Leeds-based wholesaler supplying soft drinks, confectionery, crisps and snacks to customers across Yorkshire. We are a friendly, family-run business with a strong reputation for reliability and customer service.
We are currently seeking a reliable and professional Delivery Driver to join our team, based at our Leeds depot.
The Role
This is a full-time role driving a Transit-sized van, delivering to customers across Yorkshire. You will play a key part in our logistics operation, ensuring customers receive their orders on time and in full.
Your day will typically include:
- Starting around 7am from our Leeds depot
- Loading your vehicle and planning your delivery route
- Completing 15–30 deliveries per day, depending on size and location
- Delivering soft drinks, confectionery, crisps and snacks
- Maintaining a high standard of customer service
The role involves a degree of physical work, including picking, loading and unloading stock.
Key Responsibilities
- Safely operate company vehicles in line with traffic laws and company procedures
- Deliver goods promptly and efficiently across designated routes in Yorkshire
- Load and unload stock carefully, including heavy items
- Complete delivery paperwork and obtain proof of delivery where required
- Maintain vehicle cleanliness and report any defects or issues
- Communicate effectively with the office and customers regarding deliveries
- Follow all health and safety procedures at all times
- Assist with basic warehouse duties when required

What We’re Looking For
- Full UK driving licence (essential)
- Van or commercial driving experience (preferred but not essential)
- Good knowledge of local roads and routes
- Physically fit and comfortable with manual handling
- Well organised with good time management
- Positive, “can-do” attitude
- Strong customer service and communication skills
