This position is based in Basildon, Essex - Monday - Friday 09.00 - 17.30pm (37.5hrs per week). No Hybrid Working

ROLE: This is a trainee role. The Post holder will be working with the Supervisors to learn how to :
To assist with the day to day operations of the Road Freight Import Department
· Assisting Department Manager in the smooth running of the department
· Entering jobs and manifests onto the company's internal operating system
· Supplying the warehouse with information required to enable the prompt and efficient off-loading of trailers.
· Liaising with agents and customers alike to ascertain their needs and requirements in order to ensure all deliveries are completed in a timely fashion.
· Daily collating of necessary and required information from Hauliers of arrival/departure times.
· Daily calculation of prices and costs for certain manifests.
· Daily up-dating of spreadsheets with relevant information.
· As and when required, assisting with the pricing and invoicing of manifests for all import services
· Upon completion of file invoicing, allocate to designated folders

Pay: £21,000.00-£25,000.00 per year
