Overview
We are seeking a talented and passionate Hair Stylists to join our dynamic team. If you have worked in a salon environment for 1 year, been qualified for 6 months or more and have a natural flare and passion for hair, we want to hear from you.
The ideal candidate will possess a strong sense of style, will be fun & bubbly, excellent customer service skills, and a commitment to delivering exceptional hair services. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work in a vibrant salon environment, providing personalised services that enhance our clients’ confidence and appearance. Applicants should be enthusiastic, professional, and eager to grow their career within the hair industry.
You will start on a minimum wage salon, plus performance bonus until you have successfully completed your probationary period. After this period your basic will be increased according to your skill level.
Duties
- Providing a wide range of hair styling services including cuts, colour, blow-drying, balayage and specialised hair treatments.
- Offering personalised consultations to understand client preferences and recommend suitable styles or treatments
- Upselling additional products or services to maximise client satisfaction and salon revenue when appropriate
- Maintaining cleanliness and organisation of workstations and tools in accordance with health and safety regulations
- Provide outstanding customer service to all our clients
- Maintain and build a busy column, keeping to salon timings
Skills
- Proven experience in hair styling, barbering (an advantage as training can be given), and colour techniques
- Ability to be punctual and reliable to maintain client confidence
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to build lasting client relationships
- Excellent communication skills to effectively liaise with clients and team members
- Be willing to attend our in house continuous training programme
- Demonstrated ability in upselling products or services
- Organisational skills for managing appointments
