Our client is a growing construction contractor seeking an experienced Senior Estimator to join their team in Kenley. Working on refurbishment, fit-out and new build projects valued at up to £5 million, you will play a key role in securing new business and supporting the continued growth of the company.

Prepare accurate cost estimates and tender submissions across a range of construction projects.

Manage framework quotations, small works opportunities and competitive tenders.

Source and identify opportunities through public and private tender portals.

Produce take-offs, cost plans and pricing schedules.

Obtain and assess subcontractor and supplier quotations.

Build and maintain pricing databases and schedules of rates.

Liaise with clients, consultants and supply chain partners throughout the tender process.

Provide value engineering solutions and commercial input.

Analyse tender feedback to improve future bid success.

Support the commercial and operational teams during project handover.

Proven experience as a Senior Estimator within the construction industry.

Experience pricing refurbishment, fit-out and/or new build projects up to £5 million.

Strong knowledge of public procurement and tender portals.

Ability to build rates from first principles.

Excellent understanding of construction methods and sequencing.

Advanced Excel skills and experience with Bluebeam or similar estimating software.

Strong commercial awareness and attention to detail.

Excellent communication and organisational skills.
