Hours: Monday to Wednesday 8am - 2pm
Make a real difference every day.
We are a well-established local charity with a long history of supporting older adults in our community. We're looking for a caring, reliable and hardworking Cleaner to join our friendly team at The Hamlets, our 30-bed nursing home providing specialist care for residents living with functional mental health challenges.
This is much more than a cleaning role. As part of our wider care team, you'll be helping to create a clean, comfortable and welcoming home where our residents can feel safe, valued and respected.
About the Role:
You'll be responsible for maintaining high standards of cleanliness throughout the home, including residents' bedrooms, communal areas and other facilities, helping to ensure a safe, hygienic and pleasant environment for everyone.
The role also includes supporting our laundry service, ensuring residents' clothing and bedding are cared for with dignity and attention.
No two days are the same, so we're looking for someone who is flexible, takes pride in their work and enjoys being part of a supportive team.
We're looking for someone who:
- Takes pride in maintaining high standards of cleanliness
- Has a keen eye for detail
- Can work independently and manage their time effectively
- Is reliable, adaptable and willing to help where needed
- Understands the importance of infection prevention and follows health and safety procedures
- Has previous cleaning experience (preferred but not essential, as full training will be provided)
Why Join Us?
At The Hamlets, every member of our team plays an important part in enhancing the lives of our residents. We value kindness, respect and teamwork, and we're committed to creating a supportive working environment where everyone feels appreciated.
If you're looking for a rewarding role where your work genuinely makes a difference every day, we'd love to hear from you.
Apply today and become part of a team that's dedicated to providing the very best care for our residents.
