Why we need a Sales Executive
We are looking for a motivated and confident Sales Executive to help us meet our annual sales targets and strengthen relationships with clients across the public and private sectors. You will play a key role in developing sales pipelines, responding to enquiries, arranging product demonstrations, and supporting customers throughout their journey with RHE. Much of your work will be online via video conferencing, but you will also attend conferences, exhibitions and client meetings when required.
Key responsibilities
Develop and follow up sales leads across multiple channels including warm leads and marketing campaigns
- Set appointments with SaaS clients, conduct product demonstrations and follow up afterwards
- Respond to customer enquiries promptly and professionally
- Build and manage a strong SaaS sales pipeline, working closely with colleagues to achieve annual targets
- Prepare and send sales proposals for new clients
- Enter and manage data within sales systems such as Pipedrive
- Attend national conferences and regional groups, representing RHE and showcasing our solutions
- Assist with marketing campaigns, user groups and tech panels
- Cross-sell training products such as e-learning and online courses
- Deliver product training when purchased by clients
- Support the finance team with renewals when required
- Assist product development by gathering customer feedback, scoping basic features and attending stakeholder meetings
Desired skills & qualities
We are looking for someone who brings both professionalism and personality to the role. As a Sales Executive, you will be representing RHE to clients across the UK and overseas, so being personable, confident and able to build positive relationships is essential. You should have experience working with SaaS products and feel comfortable explaining digital solutions to a wide range of customers.
Key qualities include:
- Personable communication - the ability to build rapport quickly, communicate clearly and represent RHE with professionalism and warmth
- SaaS experience - confidence working with cloud platforms, mobile apps and digital environments
- Environmental Health/Local Authority experience - an understanding of working with public sector clients with fixed budgets
- Working to deadlines - a willingness to work under pressure and meet targets consistently
- Attention to detail - accuracy in reporting, data entry, proposals and customer follow‑ups
- Initiative - a resourceful approach to problem‑solving and the ability to act proactively when engaging leads or supporting colleagues
- Strong administrative and digital skills - including familiarity with CRM systems such as Pipedrive
- A willingness to learn - especially around our products, customer needs and evolving feature sets
- Team collaboration - working effectively with colleagues in the office and remotely using MS Teams, email and other communication tools

- Strengthen our sales pipeline and increase conversion rates
- Improve customer engagement and satisfaction through timely responses and high‑quality demonstrations
- Ensure accurate reporting of sales progress in Pipedrive and team meetings
- Support product development by feeding back customer insights
- Help increase visibility of our solutions through conferences, campaigns and cross‑team collaboration
Salary and benefits
- Salary: £32,000 basic per annum. Annual bonus from 3-7k.
- Hours of work: 35 hours per week
- Working pattern: Monday to Friday, 9 am to 5 pm
- Hybrid working: 2 days per week in our Bristol office (Runway East), remainder from home
- Holiday: 28 days plus bank holidays
