We are looking for two talented and motivated Chefs (experience preferred) to join our kitchen team at The White Lady, a recently opened family restaurant that is quickly becoming a popular local destination. we can offer a work life balance? also 40 hr week , attractive hourly rate, small friendly team working with great seasonal produce?
Opened in December 2025, The White Lady offers breakfast, dinners, and traditional Sunday roasts in a relaxed, welcoming setting, serving freshly prepared food alongside a wide selection of beers, wines and spirits. As our reputation grows, so does our team — with up to 100 covers on a Sunday, we’re looking for a chef who enjoys working in a busy, supportive kitchen.
Duties
- Prepare and cook a variety of dishes to a high standard
- Support service across breakfast, lunch, dinner and Sunday roast service to ensure timely delivery of orders
- Maintain excellent food hygiene and kitchen organisation
- Work collaboratively in a busy kitchen environment to ensure food safety protocols and cleanliness in the kitchen area
- Help maintain consistency as the restaurant continues to grow
What we are looking for
- Experience in a similar role within a busy restaurant or hospitality setting preferred
- Passion for quality food and good presentation
- Knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques and food safety regulations
- Ability to stay calm and organised during busy services
- Flexibility and a positive attitude
- Reliability and strong work ethic
