Duties
- Clean and disinfect classrooms, corridors, toilets, and other communal areas using appropriate cleaning agents and equipment.
- Sweep, mop, vacuum, and dust surfaces to uphold cleanliness standards throughout the school premises.
- Empty bins and dispose of waste responsibly in designated areas.
- Ensure that all cleaning tasks are completed efficiently within scheduled times to minimise disruption to school activities.
- Report any maintenance issues or damages identified during cleaning to the relevant authorities promptly.
- Follow health and safety procedures at all times to ensure a safe working environment for oneself and others.
Requirements
- Previous experience in commercial cleaning services is preferred but full training giving.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to work efficiently and independently.
- Good organisational skills to manage daily cleaning routines effectively.
- Ability to work flexibly during designated hours, including early mornings or after school hours if required.
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations related to cleaning practices.
- Reliable with a professional attitude towards maintaining cleanliness standards within an educational environment.
This role is vital in supporting the smooth operation of our school by providing a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for all pupils and staff.
Pay: £12.71-£12.85 per hour
