About the Role
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic and dedicated Maths Teacher to join a successful Mathematics department from September 2026. The successful candidate will be passionate about their subject, committed to raising attainment, and able to inspire students across Key Stages 3 and 4. The ability to teach Key Stage 5 would be advantageous but is not essential.
Applications are welcomed from experienced teachers as well as Early Career Teachers (ECTs) looking to begin or further develop their teaching career within a supportive school environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging, high-quality Maths lessons across KS3 and KS4
- Differentiate learning to meet the needs of all students
- Assess, monitor, and record student progress effectively
- Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes learning and achievement
- Contribute to the wider life of the Mathematics department and school community
- Maintain high standards of behaviour and classroom management
Requirements
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Degree in Mathematics or a related subject
- Experience teaching Maths within a secondary school setting
- Strong subject knowledge and a passion for mathematics education
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
