Daddy Daycare is expanding! As our after school club in Morningside grows, we’re looking for two new faces to join our friendly team — one qualified Practitioner and one Playworker. No qualification yet? No problem — we’ll help you gain one.
We’re easy to reach, with multiple bus routes nearby, and our purpose-built childcare facility offers free-flow outdoor space from both halls.
About Us
Daddy Daycare is a family-run business with over ten years of experience in childcare. Our clubs are completely child-led — the children choose their own snacks, toys and activities, and yes, they even help interview new staff (they’re surprisingly good judges of character!).

About You
We’re looking for someone who treats every child as an individual, genuinely enjoys their company, and knows how to have fun. If you hold an SVQ3 or HNC, you could join us as a Practitioner. Haven’t gained your qualification yet? We’ll support you to achieve it within your first year with us.
About the Role
We have openings for Playworkers and a qualified Practitioner at Daddy Daycare Morningside, Canaan Lane (EH10 4SG). Roles can be full year or term-time only, with the option to pick up extra hours during the school holidays.
After School Club hours: Monday to Thursday, 2pm–6pm (including a weekly team meeting), plus Fridays, 11.30am–6pm (with a 30-minute break).
We’re also exploring a new Youth Club at a local church. If you’re a student who can’t commit to a full 23 hours a week, please get in touch anyway — the Youth Club would run for just two hours in the afternoon, 3.30pm–5.30pm.
