We are looking for an experienced and dedicated Deputy Nurse Manager to join our team. In this leadership role, you will work closely with the Registered Manager to ensure the delivery of exceptional care, maintain high clinical standards, and support the development of our nursing team.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee day-to-day operations of the nursing home in the absence of the Registered Manager.
- Lead and support the clinical team, ensuring safe and effective nursing care.
- Provide mentorship, supervision, and training for nursing and care staff.
- Conduct care plan reviews and assessments to ensure residents’ needs are fully met.
- Ensure compliance with CQC regulations, policies, and procedures.
- Support the Registered Manager in audits, quality improvement, and incident management.
- Build and maintain positive relationships with residents, families, and external professionals.
Requirements
- NMC Registered Nurse (RGN/RMN/RNLD) with a valid pin.
- Proven experience in a leadership role within a nursing home or similar healthcare setting.
- Strong knowledge of CQC standards and care regulations.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and organisational skills.
- A compassionate, proactive, and resident-focused approach to care.
