We are looking for a reliable, hard-working, and enthusiastic Kitchen Porter to join our busy kitchen team at The Kings Arms in the beautiful village of Cartmel.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys working as part of a team in a fast-paced hospitality environment and takes pride in maintaining high standards.
About the Role
As a Kitchen Porter, you will play a vital role in supporting our chefs and ensuring the kitchen operates smoothly and efficiently.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Washing dishes, pots, pans, and kitchen equipment
- Maintaining cleanliness throughout the kitchen and wash-up areas
- Assisting with deliveries and stock storage
- Ensuring all food safety and hygiene standards are followed
- Removing waste and recycling appropriately
- Supporting the kitchen team with basic preparation tasks when required
- Helping to keep the kitchen organised, safe, and clean at all times
What We're Looking For

- Previous kitchen experience is beneficial but not essential, as full training will be provided
Essential Requirement
