An appointment setter in an inbound call centre is responsible for receiving incoming calls from prospective or existing customers and qualifying their interest to schedule consultations, demos, or sales meetings. They act as the crucial link between the caller and the sales team.
Core Responsibilities
- Handle Inbound Inquiries: Answer incoming calls promptly, address customer questions, and build immediate rapport.
- Schedule Appointments: Book qualified leads into the calendars of field agents, sales executives, or account managers using CRM Software.
- Update Records: Accurately log call details, customer information, and lead statuses into the company's database.
- Overcome Objections: Address customer hesitations professionally to secure the appointment.
