We are now seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Senior Sales Coordinator to join our Sales team and play a key role in supporting the end-to-end sales process.
The Role
As Senior Sales Coordinator, you will act as a central point of contact for customers, ensuring a professional and efficient service throughout the sales journey. You will be responsible for responding to product enquiries, preparing accurate quotations, coordinating order fulfilment, and supporting the successful delivery of customer projects.
This is a collaborative role that involves working closely with internal departments including manufacturing, engineering, and logistics, as well as external sales partners, to ensure customer requirements are fully understood and delivered on time and to specification.
You will also provide coordination support for more complex customer orders, helping to monitor progress, resolve issues, and maintain clear communication with all stakeholders. In addition, you will contribute to continuous improvement initiatives to help enhance processes, efficiency, and the overall customer experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage sales order entry, amendments, and tracking through to dispatch
- Respond to customer enquiries (UK and export) relating to products, specifications, and pricing
- Coordinate with manufacturing and supply chain teams to ensure timely delivery
- Liaise with external sales teams and distributors to support customer projects
- Provide project coordination for complex or bespoke orders
- Maintain clear and professional communication with customers at all stages
- Monitor order progress, proactively addressing delays or issues
- Resolve customer queries and coordinate solutions effectively
- Support continuous improvement initiatives within the sales process
- Build and maintain strong customer relationships
We are looking for a proactive and organised individual with strong communication and coordination skills. You will have previous experience in Business, Sales, customer service, or coordination role, ideally within a manufacturing or technical environment.
You will also demonstrate:
- Excellent organisational and multitasking abilities
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Confidence communicating with customers and internal stakeholders
- A collaborative and solution-focused approach
- The ability to manage priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Good IT skills, including experience with ERP/CRM systems and Microsoft Office
