About the Role
We are looking for a committed, enthusiastic & energetic individual to join our team. This is a rewarding opportunity to work directly with young people who have Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs and an Education, Health and Care Plan (EHCP).
You will be supporting learners during unstructured social hours, empowering them to develop their social skills, make lasting friendships and create a sense of belonging within the college community. In addition, you will also be responsible for a caseload of students, providing targeted support through relational, student-centred approaches. You will build strong and professional relationships that promote emotional wellbeing in line with our #WellStudent strategy. Your role will focus on identifying and reducing barriers to learning, enabling students to fully engage with their education and work toward their Preparation for Adult outcomes and aspirations.
If you are passionate, energetic and committed to supporting young people to build resilience, emotional wellbeing and social skills we would welcome your application.
