Accounts Receivable Specialist
Job Summary
We are seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented Accounts Receivable Specialist to join the finance team at one of our high-profile client sites. The role will also involve occasional time spent between our Gerrards Cross and Chorleywood offices.
The successful candidate will play a key role in managing incoming payments, maintaining accurate financial records, and supporting the overall financial health of the organisation. Key Responsibilities
- Review daily sales reports to ensure accuracy and completeness
- Post and allocate bank receipts across multiple payment streams
- Reconcile daily sales reports against bank receipts
- Investigate and resolve discrepancies in collaboration with internal stakeholders
- Respond to queries from the Management Accounts team, Finance Manager and wider business
- Monitor and maintain the aged receivables ledger, ensuring timely collections
- Manage and follow up on chargeback enquiries from card payment providers
- Support the preparation of ad hoc financial reports as required by the group
- Carry out general administrative tasks to support the finance function
Requirements
- Proven experience in an Accounts Receivable role
- Working knowledge of SAP or similar accounting systems
- Excellent data entry skills with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail
- Strong understanding of accounts receivable processes and financial controls
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret financial data effectively
- Strong communication skills, including professional telephone manner
- Experience in Accounts Payable is advantageous but not essential
- Highly organised, proactive, and able to manage multiple priorities within tight deadlines

Pay: £24,420.00-£35,000.00 per year
