Role: SEN Teaching Assistant
Location: Ravenshead, Nottinghamshire

Whether you’re an experienced SEN Teaching Assistant or support worker, looking for 1:1 or small-group roles, or have hands-on experience supporting students with ASD, SEMH, ADHD, or complex needs, we’d love to hear from you! This opportunity is also ideal if you’re returning to SEN education after a break or simply seeking consistent, rewarding work without the usual agency stress.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide one-on-one and small group support to students with special educational needs (SEN).
- Work closely with classroom teachers to create an inclusive learning environment.
- Monitor and record student progress, providing feedback to teachers and parents.
- Support students' social and emotional development, fostering a positive and encouraging atmosphere.
- Assist with classroom management and behaviour support.
Requirements:
- Experience working with children, preferably in an educational setting.
- Understanding of SEN and a passion for supporting students with additional needs.
- An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or happy to apply for one)
- Relevant qualifications (Lvl 2 / Lvl 3) or training in special education, (desirable but not essential).
