Industrial Cleaner and Team Leader
Location: Chesterfield | This role will involve working away regularly
Salary: Starting at £31,590 per annum | Pay increases when trained in specialist areas
Hours of work: 11-hour days / Start times between 4:30am – 6:00am
Contract: Permanent
We are recruiting for an experienced Industrial Cleaner and Team Leader to join a company based in Bolsover, Chesterfield, with projects delivered across the UK.
Our client is a world-class facilities service business with over 25 years’ experience working within Data Centres and Enterprise IT environments, specialising in critical infrastructure projects.

Duties:
- Leading and supervising a team on-site
- Ensuring all works are carried out safely and in line with Risk & Method Statements
- Overseeing site activities and maintaining high standards of work
- Vacuuming contamination from floor voids (lifting panels required)
- Cleaning ceiling voids
- Cleaning IT equipment (external server casings)
- Using rotary buffing machines on vinyl flooring
- Using water-based cleaning products on hard surfaces
- Completing and monitoring Dynamic Risk Assessments on-site
- Reporting progress and any issues to senior management
Experience & Requirements:
- Previous Team Leader / Supervisory experience is essential
- Full UK driving licence is essential
- Willingness to work away regularly
- CSCS Card
Desirable (but not essential):
- Experience in fire stopping
- MEWP / Truck mounted plant / vehicles
- IPAF / PASMA
- SSSTS
- First Aid certificate
- Working at heights / harness training
