Looking either a trainee, graduate or someone fully qualified
Purpose: Due to growth in our Integrated Engineering Solutions Department
To provide a service for Danfoss variable speed drives and other general engineering servicing work.
full training will be provided on PM inspections, commissioning, repair and installation of Danfoss drives.
Main Duties:
Internal Duties
- Assess and report condition of variable speed drives.
- Repair to variable speed drives.
- Provide an in-house support service for various other Greenville Products, where relevant training has been provided.
- Compiling site assessment report for final submission to customer using web-based tools
- Based within our Belfast Service Centre
External Duties
- On site Commissioning of Danfoss Drives
- On site fault diagnosis and repair of variable speed drives 400V & 690V
- On site PM inspection on variable speed drives
- On site support for other Greenville Products, where relevant training has been provided
- On site assessment and recording of install base variable speed drives
The external field service work will consist mainly of the geographical areas of the whole of Ireland, some travel further afield and abroad may be required. This duty may require travelling long distances, out of hours work will may be required and the candidate must be available to do so when requested with reasonable notice. Pre-planned out of hours work will may also be required. The applicant must be available for a call out rota, at a later date, financial compensation to be agreed if required.
General Servicing – Other Equipment
- Provides field servicing of other equipment when requested by other departments
- Other reasonable duties within the job-holder’s competencies as directed by management
Job Requirements
- Competency in Microsoft office, mainly word, excel and outlook.
- UK Driving Licence.
- Good at communication.
- Understanding of electrical circuitry and electrical qualifications preferred.
