Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Cleaning Operative to join our team on a full-time basis. The successful candidate will play a vital role in maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene across various commercial premises. Duties
- Perform routine cleaning tasks in commercial environments, including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and waste disposal
- Use specialised cleaning equipment and products to ensure surfaces and fixtures are hygienic and presentable
- Maintain cleanliness of washrooms, kitchens, offices, and communal areas according to company standards
- Restock supplies such as hand soap, paper towels, and toilet roll as needed
- Follow health and safety guidelines at all times during cleaning activities
- Report any maintenance issues or hazards identified during cleaning duties to management promptly
- Adhere to scheduled cleaning routines and complete tasks within designated timeframes
Skills
- Previous experience in commercial cleaning or janitorial roles is highly desirable
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to high standards of hygiene
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Good organisational skills and reliability in completing assigned tasks on time
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations related to cleaning procedures
- Physical stamina to perform manual tasks including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods
