Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Body Shop Technician to join our professional team. Responsibilities
- Conduct vehicle repairs including panel straightening, dent removal, and component replacement
- Use hand tools and power tools effectively to carry out repairs with precision
- Perform bodywork refinishing, including sanding, priming, and painting preparation
- Assist with vehicle disassembly and reassembly as required
- Ensure all repairs meet safety standards and manufacturer specifications
- Maintain a clean and organised work area to promote safety and efficiency
- Collaborate with team members to complete jobs within designated timeframes
- Assist with heavy lifting tasks safely using appropriate techniques and equipment
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Body Shop Technician or similar role within the automotive repair industry
- Mechanical knowledge of vehicle structures and components
- Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools for bodywork repairs
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely, often moving vehicle parts or equipment weighing up to 25kg or more
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
- Good organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently
- Relevant qualifications or certifications in automotive body repair are desirable but not essential
- A valid driver’s licence is preferred but not mandatory

Pay: £35,360.00-£52,298.53 per year
