Self Employed Mortgage and Protection Adviser
Mortgage Monkeys is growing, and we’re looking for the right person to join us as a self employed Mortgage and Protection Adviser.
We do things differently to most firms. We’re friendly, relaxed, approachable, and genuinely care about our clients, but at the same time we take the advice and service side incredibly seriously. Clients come to us because they want proper advice explained in plain English without feeling like just another number.
One of the biggest challenges for self employed advisers is finding clients. The good news is you won’t be starting from scratch. We already have introducer relationships, ongoing lead generation, and an existing client database for you to work with. We also provide admin support so you can spend more time speaking to clients and less time drowning in paperwork.
If you’re currently employed and nervous about making the jump into self employment, there may also be scope for an initial guaranteed income arrangement to help with the transition for the right person.
What you’ll be doing
- Advising clients on mortgages and protection in a clear, simple, and personal way.
- Helping first time buyers, home movers, remortgage clients, landlords, and families protect themselves properly.
- Building relationships with clients so they come back to you for years, and recommend you to friends and family.
- Working alongside estate agents, solicitors, lenders, and our internal admin team to keep things moving smoothly.
- Being part of a business that genuinely wants to grow together.
What we’re looking for
- Somebody who enjoys talking to people and building relationships.
- A professional attitude without the corporate robot personality.
- A strong work ethic and willingness to learn and improve.
- Mortgage and protection experience is great, but attitude and personality matter just as much to us.
- Somebody who wants to be part of a modern, growing brand with a fun culture and big ambitions.
