Job Title: Class 2 HGV (Tipper / Mixer / Volumetric) Driver

Due to expansion, and we’re investing properly in our fleet. We now have brand new 26-plate trucks, including Tippers, Drum Mixers and Volumetric Mixers – and we’re looking for professional Class 2 HGV Drivers to get behind the wheel.

As one of our drivers, you will carry out daily vehicle checks in line with company procedures before leaving the depot, ensuring the vehicle is roadworthy and the load is safe and secure. We expect all our drivers to operate vehicles professionally, minimise damage, and represent the business to the highest standard on site.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure full compliance with Company Health & Safety Policies and Procedures
- Adhere to Drivers’ Hours, Working Time and Tachograph regulations
- Conduct daily walk-round inspections and complete defect reports
- Use a tablet-based system to log deliveries and job completions
- Maintain your assigned vehicle to a high standard
- Deliver materials safely and professionally to customer sites
Experience
- Previous experience driving Tippers, Drum/Barrel Mixers or Volumetric Mixers is desirable
- Experience within construction or aggregates is advantageous
- Full training provided for the right candidate
Requirements
- Valid Class 2 (Category C) Licence
- Valid Driver CPC Card
- Valid Digital Tachograph Card
- Good understanding of driver compliance and safety standards
