Senior Technician – Specialist Cleaning & Restoration
Highly skilled and experienced Senior Technician with a strong background in specialist cleaning and restoration services. Experienced in delivering a wide range of remediation and restoration works while ensuring company policies, procedures, and safe systems of work are followed at all times. A hands-on professional with extensive technical knowledge across mould remediation, fire and flood restoration, hoarding and biohazard cleaning, and oil/chemical spill response. Proven ability to support site operations, maintain high standards of workmanship, and assist in the development of junior technicians through guidance and practical training.
Responsibilities
- Carry out specialist works including mould remediation, fire and flood restoration, hoarding and biohazard cleaning, and oil/chemical spill response.
- Ensure all company policies, procedures, and safe working practices are followed on site.
- Deliver projects safely, compliantly, and to a consistently high standard of quality.
- Support and mentor assistant technicians, sharing knowledge and assisting with their development.
- Confidently use power tools and undertake rip-outs, strip-outs, and other physically demanding restoration tasks when required.
- Assist with emergency response works and participate in on-call rotas.
- Maintain a professional approach when representing the business on client sites, ensuring effective communication and excellent customer service.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure projects are completed efficiently and within agreed timescales.
Key Skills & Qualifications
- Extensive experience within specialist cleaning and restoration environments.
- Strong knowledge of mould remediation, fire and flood restoration, biohazard cleaning, hoarding clearances, and spill response.
- BDMA qualifications or equivalent industry-recognised restoration and remediation certifications are desirable.
- Excellent understanding of health and safety requirements and safe systems of work.
- Competent with power tools and practical site-based restoration works.
- Physically fit and capable of undertaking demanding manual tasks.
- Flexible and willing to travel nationwide when required.
- Full UK driving licence.
Pay: £18.00-£20.00 per hour
