About this Role
Are you a Class 1 Driver looking for a new role, or an experienced HGV Driver ready for a fresh challenge? This Class 1 Driver opportunity with Dawsongroup Truck and Trailer offers variety, independence and the chance to represent a business that has been supporting customers with smarter asset strategies for over 50 years in asset rental.

Deliver and collect vehicles between customer sites, workshops and Dawsongroup locations.

Present vehicles for MOTs and support the efficient movement of fleet assets.

Complete vehicle checks and report defects, incidents or concerns promptly.

Assist with vehicle cleaning, check in and check out processes, and general operational support.

Help maintain a safe, secure and organised branch environment.
About You
You take pride in your work, enjoy being on the road and understand the importance of delivering a professional customer experience.

Hold a valid UK LGV/HGV Class 1 driving licence.

Hold a valid Driver Qualification Card (CPC).

Understand the importance of road safety, compliance and vehicle care.

Comfortable completing basic paperwork and vehicle records.

Friendly, reliable and professional when dealing with customers and colleagues.
