About the Role
We are seeking a dependable, proactive, and hands-on Part-Time Property Manager to oversee and maintain a portfolio of residential properties located primarily in London, with occasional travel to other UK cities where required.
This role would suit someone with previous property management experience combined with practical maintenance and DIY skills who is looking for part-time self-employed work.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out regular property inspections and ensure properties remain compliant with legal and safety requirements
- Undertake general maintenance and minor repairs, particularly in plumbing, joinery, tiling, and basic DIY
- Manage tenant communications and respond promptly to maintenance issues
- Maintain accurate records, including inventories, inspection reports, and maintenance logs
- Liaise with contractors and service providers for specialist or larger-scale works
- Travel between properties in London and Nottinghamshire, with occasional visits to other UK cities as required
Ideal Candidate Will Have
- Previous experience in property or estate management
- Good practical DIY skills, particularly in plumbing, joinery, and tiling
- Strong organisational and time management skills
- Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
- A full UK driving licence and willingness to travel
Working Arrangement
- Self-employed contractor role (Contract for Services)
- Flexibility is required, as occasional weekend attendance or emergency call-outs may be necessary
- Working days and hours can be arranged flexibly by agreement
Pay & Expenses
- £15 per hour, paid monthly
- Mileage and approved travel expenses reimbursed
