Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Healthcare Assistant to join our team. Responsibilities
- Assist clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Support clients with mobility and daily activities, promoting independence where possible
- Help in the development and implementation of personalised care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team
- Provide companionship and emotional support to clients, ensuring their comfort and safety
- Maintain accurate documentation of care provided using IT systems
- Communicate effectively with clients, families, and healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care delivery
- Drive between different care settings if required, ensuring timely attendance for appointments or visits
Requirements
- Valid driving licence and access to own transport preferred
- Experience working in a care home or providing home care is desirable
- Understanding of care plans and ability to follow prescribed routines accurately
- Good command of English, both written and spoken, with excellent communication skills
- Basic IT skills for documentation and record keeping purposes
- Compassionate attitude with a genuine desire to support vulnerable individuals
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Flexibility to adapt to different shifts and client needs

Pay: £12.71 per hour
