We are currently recruiting for a reliable and professional Class 2 Multi-Drop Driver to work from a busy depot based in Trafford Park covering deliveries for the whole of the North west. This role involves completing daily deliveries across the North West area, ensuring goods are delivered safely, efficiently, and on time while maintaining excellent customer service standards.
Position: Class 2 Multi-Drop Driver (Category C)
Location: Trafford Park, Manchester
Pay Rate: £17.00 per hour
Job Type: Full-Time / Ongoing Work
Hours: Monday to Friday
Start Times: Between 05:00am – 07:00am start times until finish
Deliveries: 5–7 drops per day
Key Responsibilities
- Complete daily vehicle checks before departure
- Carry out 5–7 deliveries per shift in a safe and timely manner
- Ensure all goods are loaded and secured correctly
- Use POD systems and complete delivery paperwork accurately
- Provide professional customer service at all delivery locations
- Follow planned delivery routes and schedules
- Comply with driver hours, tachograph, and WTD regulations
- Keep the vehicle clean and report any defects immediately
- Adhere to all health & safety procedures
RequirementsEssential
- Valid UK Class 2 (Category C) Licence
- Valid Driver CPC Qualification Card
- Digital Tachograph Card
- Good communication and customer service skills
- No more than 6 penalty points (no DR, DD, or IN endorsements)
- Ability to work independently and manage delivery schedules efficiently
- Physically fit due to loading/unloading duties
Desirable
- Previous multi-drop driving experience
- Knowledge of Trafford Park and North West delivery routes
- Experience operating tail lifts and pump trucks
