Job Summary
An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our kitchen brigade at this busy popular all day dining restaurant in the heart of Primrose Hill. We serve brunch from 9am as well as an a la carte menu for lunch and dinner. Due to increased business we require an experienced chef de partie to join our team - if you are enthusiastic, committed, have at least 2 year’s experience in a similar role, are looking for a new challenge and want to join our team of brilliant chefs - then send us your CV and a covering letter telling us a little bit about yourself. Your starting salary will be 39-42K per annum (depending on experience) inclusive of % of kitchen tronc plus 28 days holiday pay, discounts in the restaurant and the opportunity to do training courses. We are an established company and on the look out for motivated people to join our company! You must have a good command of English and be eligible to work in the UK. Key responsibilities:
- Prepping and cooking all dishes assigned to their station, to the standard set by the head chef
- Managing stock for their section — ordering, checking deliveries, rotating ingredients (FIFO), minimising waste
- Maintaining hygiene and safety standards — food safety, allergen handling, HACCP compliance, clean workstation
- Plating and quality control — ensuring dishes leave the station consistent with recipe specs and presentation standards
- Liaising with other stations during busy service to keep timing coordinated
